The night shift is a series of TV show which is released on NBC. It is a series about medical doctors who worked in San Antonio Hospital. Topher Zia was also a doctor and his death was announced in season four, Second episode. Dr. Jordan, who is a head of the Night Shift, announced about the death Of Dr. Topher Zia.
