The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street is a science fiction teleplay. In the stage directions the metal side of a space craft is shown. This is a fictional element based on scientific theory. The space craft is not a magical idea. There is no history or impact of space travel on society explained. There are also no scientific facts explained.
