Eamon used a number line to compare two numbers,0.48 and 3/5.One number was less than 1/2 and the other number was greater than 1/2.Which number was less than 1/2. Please help

It's easy, just convert all the number to the same decimal or number. Start off by converting all the numbers to decimals. 1/2 would be .50. 3/5 would be .60. By knowing this you can easily order the numbers from least to greatest. .48, .50, and .60. The answer would be  .48
