How and where do plant and animal cells get their energy? Let's find out!

°  Plant cells get their energy through photosynthesis. This means that they have a green chemical in them called chlorophyll that works like a million solar panels.

°  Animal cells get their energy from the food that they eat. They take Glucose (a type of sugar) and turn it into a chemical known as ATP which is what they use for energy!

Science is so cool, isn't it? :)
