Neutralists in the American Revolution were people who did not want to partake in the American Revolution and held neutral opinions about the independence of the United States. This included people such as Quakers, whose religion forbade them from fighting, people like shopkeepers and tavern owners who might lose business due to war or some Native American tribes who chose to stay neutral.

Why do some think bernie sanders plan is so unrealistic?
Molodets [167]

Answer: I think he believes that things such as college should be free and some people think this is unrealistic because the government does not have enough funds to pay for things like this to be free.  If more things were free, the government would need to tax people more to make up for the amount of money the government would be spending.

Which is more important to emphasize in a textbook chapter, Soviet achievements in space or Stalin’s Great Terror?
sdas [7]

Both of these are important to emphasize in a textbook chapter, as both of them are fair representations of the role that communist policies had in the Soviet Union.

If we only reported on the achievements in space of the Soviet Union, then we would minimize the damage that certain policies caused. On the other hand, if we only reported on Stalin's Great Terror, then we would be painting a biased and inaccurate picture of the regime. Therefore, it is important to mention both of these events, as well as the many others that defined the Soviet Union during this time period.

Who was the coya? what led to the down fall of the inca !! 11 !! points
Karolina [17]

The fall that led to the end was:

The two sons of Huayna Capac plunged the empire into a brutal civil war. Atahualpa and Huáscar called on the mummified bodies of past Sapa Incas to assist them. The Incas believed their rulers were living descendants of Inti, the sun god. ... The civil war seemed to end in 1532 when Atahualpa's army captured Huáscar. After that, it led to the downfall of the Inca.

I think that "Coya" was Coya Cusirimay and who was the daughter of the Inca Topa Inca Yupanqui and Mama Ocllo Coya, and the full sister of Huayna Capac.

Hope this helps, have a good day. c;

What role did Henry Bellmon play in the Nixon impeachment trial?
e-lub [12.9K]

Henry Bellmon, was a former Oklahoma governor and United States senator who took a judicious approach to conservative politics and who was a leading figure in Richard M. Nixon’s 1968 presidential campaign.

Mr. Bellmon was the first Republican governor of Oklahoma elected in 1963 since it became a state in 1907.

He was invited to the White House at the end of the Nixon presidency, along with about 20 other Nixon supporters, on the afternoon of Aug. 8, 1974. There the president informed them that he would go on television that night to announce his decision to resign the next day, to avoid impeachment because of the Watergate scandal.

Bellmon had been serving as the national chairman of the Nixon for President Committee when he resigned to run for the Senate.

Bellmon did not play any role in Nixon impeachment trial due to his moderate positions that put him at odds with the largely conservative Oklahoma Republican Party.
