How were state constitutions important to the writing of the United States Constitution?
MAXImum [283]

Answer:

The answer is C. The state constitutions before the US constitution made big mistakes. For example, before the US constitution, they created the Articles of confederation. It didn't have an executive branch, so they couldn't enforce/carry out laws. They didn't have a judicial branch, so they couldn't settle disputes between states. Also, they weakened the federal government by not allowing them to control taxes. The state government didn't have anyone to check on them, so they had high taxes. This caused a rebellion. This made government officials realize that they needed a stronger federal government. They then made the constitution

Explain the tran-Saharan gold and salt trade in detail. 1. Describe who the traders were and anyone else that was involved. 2. D
Eva8 [605]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

The Trans-Saharan gold and salt trade

The traders were merchants of the North and West African region that traveled in caravans, using the camel to transport people and goods across the dangers of the Sahara Desert. Akan people were involved in the trade, as well as many other tribes.

Of course, they traded salt and gold, which were the most precious resources of the time for the value they represented. Gold was a precious rock with high value, and salt was as important as gold because people used to preserve food. But they also traded animal skins, ivory, silver,  sugar, pepper, and slaves.

These people conducted the trade through camel caravans across the desert, that carried the goods to important trade centers such as Timbuktu and Djenne.

How did the results of the French and Indian war impact Britain economically
Artyom0805 [142]

The French and Indian War impacted the colonies economically. As a result of the war, the British were able to expand their influence in the Ohio Valley. This meant the British would profit even more from the lucrative fur trade now that France had left the area.
