Note that
sin(30°) = 1/2
cos(30°) = √3/2
tan(30°) = 1/√3
cos(45°) = 1/√2
tan(45°) = 1

Therefore
5 sin²(30°) + cos²(45°) - 4 tan²(30°)
= 5*(1/4) + 1/2 - 4*(1/3)
= 5/12
= 0.4167

2 sin(30°) cos(30°) + tan(45°)
= 2(1/2)(√3/2) + 1
= 1.866

\frac{5sin^{2}(30)^{o}+cos^{2}(30^{o})-4tan^{2}(30^{o})}{2sin(30^{o})cos(30^{o})+tan(45^{o})}  =  \frac{0.4167}{1.866} =0.2233

Answer: 0.223

disa [49]

Answer:

The answer is "183  yards"

Step-by-step explanation:

Drive \ 1= 180 \ yards \\\\Drive \ 2= 170 \ yards\\\\ Drive\ 3= 195 \ yards \\\\Drive \ 4= x \ \ yards \\\\

Using formula:

\to \text{average of number}=\frac{sum \ of \ number}{total\ number}\\\\\to 182 =\frac{180+170+195+x}{4}\\\\\to 4 \times 182 =545+x\\\\\to x= 728-545\\\\\to x=183

Quadrilateral KLMN has vertices of K(-4,-1), L(-1,-1) M(-2,-5) and N(-4,-4) Find the length of MN
Olenka [21]

Answer:

The length of MN is \sqrt{5} units.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given Quadrilateral KLMN has vertices at K(-4,-1), L(-1,-1) M(-2,-5) and N(-4,-4).

We use the distance formula to find the length of MN.

|MN|=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}

We plug in the values to get

|MN|=\sqrt{(-4--2)^2+(-4--5)^2}

|MN|=\sqrt{(-2)^2+(1)^2}

|MN|=\sqrt{4+1}

|MN|=\sqrt{5}

The length of MN is \sqrt{5} units.
