Read this scenario and answer the question that follows it. Sample scenario: A factory produces blue and green widgets, both at

equal production costs. In one day, the factory can make 20 widgets of either color. The factory has been making 10 blue and 10 green widgets per day because they both sell for $5.00. Recently, the price of blue widgets has increased from $5.00 each to $8.00 each. How does the law of supply say the factory will respond to the increase in the price of blue widgets? by increasing the number of green widgets supplied by not changing the number of blue widgets produced by increasing the number of blue widgets supplied by decreasing the number of blue widgets supplied

Answer:

the law of supply says that the factory will respond by producing more blue widgets.

under the current model, input costs aside, the factory stands to make $100 dollars a day if both blue and green widgets are priced at $5 a widget.

if the factory continued to make 10 blue and 10 green, the factory would stand to make 130 dollars a day (50 from green and 80 from blue).

if the factory ceased making green widgets and focused instead on blue widgets, the factory could be making $160 a day.

it is likely that the factory will want to keep a diverse stream to ensure wide customer satisfaction but the factory will definitely ramp up production of blue widgets. xplanation:

Cloud [144]

Answer:

B). Danny.

Explanation:

As per the given description, Danny has the most probable chances of success as his therapist uses hypnosis(extremely focused concentration) that would help him to remain relaxed during the time of dental surgery as his entire concentration or focus would be devoted to a specific thing. Thus, he would not be able to experience pain while undergoing surgery and feel relaxed. Therefore, Danny has the most probable chances of being successful as the others are either using the method inappropriately or for an inappropriate cause('recall the night he was supposedly abducted by aliens'). Hence, option B is the correct answer.

Shkiper50 [21]

Answer: D) groupthink

Explanation:

Groupthink refers to a situation in which a group of people come together and make decision without thinking of the effect or outcome. People in the group collectively reach general agreement by giving optimum importance to the opinion and view of the group instead of individual’s opinion and view. It usually happens when groups have limited time to make decision and as a result they resolve to general opinion of the group. Thus, this is done in order to keep the unity and peace of the group.
