All you need to do is divide 32 by 4.

32/4= 8

So, 3*8= 24 (that is 3/4 of the cupcakes)

32-24= 8

8 is the answer.

I hope this helps!

Brainliest answer is always appreciated!

7.1%

Step-by-step explanation:

Those that did not complete the race either gave up or were disqualified. This means that 18 + 3 = 22 people did not complete the race. The percentage is 22/310 × 100% = 7.1%

Josh and Katya both work at a library making $9 per hour if Katya work seven more hours than Josh last week and they made $279 c
lora16 [44]

Answer:

19 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

You have 279. First, devide the 279 by 9(dollar amount).

279/9 = 31

So combined they work 31 hours. Subtract 7 from this, since we know Katya worked 7 extra hours. Youll now have 24.  (31-7 = 24)

Next, divide this number in half, which will get you what they both worked before Katya worked an extra 7 hours.

24/2 = 12.

Now that we know they both worked 12 hours, we can just add back the 7 hours Katya worked.

12+7 = 19.

So the answer to how many hours katya worked will be:

<u>19 hours</u>

Juliette [100K]

Answer:

The test statistic is t = 2.79

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question we are told that

    The population mean is \mu   = 59.3

    The sample size is  n  =  79

    The  sample mean is  \= x  = 62.4

    The  standard deviation is  \sigma  =  9.86

Generally the test statistics is mathematically represented as

            t =  \frac{\= x - \mu }{ \frac{ \sigma}{ \sqrt{n} } }

substituting values

          t =  \frac{ 62.2 -  59.3 }{ \frac{  9.86}{ \sqrt{ 79} } }

          t = 2.79
