Personally, I think it was the debris flew through the air.

Logically, it would be:

1. D
2. B
3. C
4. A

And then the accident happened. Also in the text, that was the way it was ordered as well, so I would assume it was the debris flew through the air.

Identify and explain a universal theme conveyed by the description of the battle between Beowulf and Grendel?
SashulF [63]

Answer:

The universal theme of this battle is Good vs Evil.

Explanation:

The descriptions of these two very different characters shows that Beowulf represents everything that is good, he is a proud and brave warrior, loyal to his king and protective of others. On the other hand, Grendel appears as an Evil creature, son of darkness, the one who brings death and destruction. Both characters are portrayed in this way through the vocabulary used by the narrator to describe them in a precise way, and in each case these descriptions depict the light and the darkness that is found in them.

What do tempers mean in RICHARD III (Duke of Gloucester)
aalyn [17]
Now is the winter of our discontentMade glorious summer by this son of York,And all the clouds that loured upon our houseIn the deep bosom of the ocean buried. Now are our brows bound with victorious wreaths,Our bruisèd arms hung up for monuments,Our stern alarums changed to merry meetings,Our dreadful marches to delightful measures.Grim-visaged war hath smoothed his wrinkled front; And now, instead of mounting barbèd steedsTo fright the souls of fearful adversaries,He capers nimbly in a lady’s chamberTo the lascivious pleasing of a lute. But I, that am not shaped for sportive tricks,Nor made to court an amorous looking glass;I, that am rudely stamped and want love’s majestyTo strut before a wanton ambling nymph;I, that am curtailed of this fair proportion,Cheated of feature by dissembling nature,Deformed, unfinished, sent before my timeInto this breathing world, scarce half made up,And that so lamely and unfashionableThat dogs bark at me as I halt by them—Why, I, in this weak piping time of peace,Have no delight to pass away the time,Unless to see my shadow in the sunAnd descant on mine own deformity.

You can add interest to your essay by
Llana [10]
A is the most suitable answer, although all of the answers are technically correct. B, C and D all serve to add clarity to an essay, which in turn adds interest. A directly adds interest, and the clarity comes as a secondary effect.
