Answer:
B). The author's last name.
E). The page number.
Explanation:
Parenthetical citations are described as the reference or citations to a specific information, quote, or paraphrasing from the text or from some other source.
As per the question, an in-text or parenthetical citation(in MLA format) must need information of the 'author's last name' followed by 'the page number'. This reflects that the author is properly acknowledging the original sources or references which have been referred to in the work or paper. For example; ('Lawrence, 123'). Therefore, options B and E are the correct answers.

Dear diary
Today I went to a festival (my very first too!) I was really excited too. There was a square dance a slow dance (which i would never be doing) and a line dance. There were also many other dances some culture, ballet, jazz, and e.t.c. After the dances, there were a bunch of contests like a bean bag contest, an art contest, and a trivia contest. I didn't get to win any of them but that was prefectly fine with me because I coundn't care less. Once they started to clean up we went over to the food trucks parked on the curb and we waited a really long time but once we were in front we got some corn dogs and some ice cream and cotton candy. When we were in the middle of eating we saw from a distance a parde started. It was so magical with all the floats, coustemes, and balloons. Then as soon as it was over the audience started clapping and cheering, and just like the the day was over!
Till next time diary!
Answer and Explanation:
Original paragraph:
With each passing day I am more astonished, and frightened by the responsibility of a large part of the population in the midst of the pandemic in which we are living. People refuse to wear protective masks and continue to cause crowds as if nothing is happening. And even worse they are putting other people at risk as well as putting themselves. That way we will never be able to, return to the normal life we had before.
What should be revised: It would be more interesting to put phrases that are better structured and more impersonal to give credibility to the text. In addition, it is necessary to organize the connectors between the dependent sentences, as they are positioned with the incorrect punctuation. However, it is necessary to revise the position of the commas.
Revised paragraph:
with each passing day it is possible to perceive more and more people being irresponsible with their own health and with the health of those around them. This is because, these people are unconcerned with the pandemic that is plaguing the whole planet and continue to leave the house without wearing a protective mask and continue causing people to gather. This behavior must be ended immediately, or we will never be able to return to the normal life we had.

Answer:
She meant that Shakespeare's characters are proactive and are involved in matters that are really relevant to their lives.
Explanation:
Tempest's words show why Shakespeare is so influential today. His characters are involved in important narratives, which have an implicit relevance in their lives. These characters are proactive and seek answers to their inquiries, not caring about superfluous and irrelevant things, like clothes and appearance.
