Duke Orsino's experience of love was affected as a result of his persistent in pursuit of Olivia despite several rejections from Olivia. Also, he got so absorbed in his own romantic fantasies and gripped by a powerful emotion which hits him when Viola showed up with her love for him.

"The Twelfth Night" is a play by William Shakespeare which was written around 1601-1602. Viola and Sebastian are twins who are separated in a shipwreck. Then Viola(who disguises as Cesario) falls in love with Duke Orsino but the duke was seriously in love with Olivia.
