all you do is combine like terms and divide let me show you :)

6y+2y=16

Combine 6y and 2y since they have the same variables

8y=16

Now we divide 8y into 16

8y/8y=0

16/8y=2y

The answer will be 2y

Hoped this helped:)

y=2. First, add similar elements are: 6y+2y=8y. And it gave us 8y=16. Then, divide by 8 from both sides of equation. And it gave us \frac{8y}{8}= \frac{16}{8}. And finally, simplify it gave us the answer is y=2 is the right answer. Hope this helps! Thank you for posting your question at here on brainly. Have a great day! -Charlie

The cost of parking a motor home in a state park includes a one time fee of $180, plus a daily rate of $55 per day. Anthony prep
HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

Anthony paid for 7 days of parking.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the information given, the cost of parking a motor home in a state park would be equal to the one time fee plus the result of multiplying the daily rate for the number of days:

c=180+55x, where c is the cost of parking the motor home and x is the number of days.

Now, you can replace c with 565 that is the amount Anthony prepaid and you can solve for x to be able to find the number of days he paid for:

565=180+55x

565-180=55x

385=55x

x=385/55

x=7

According to this, Anthony paid for 7 days of parking.
