Total marbles = 5 + 10 + 3 + 7 = 25

Total marbles that are not red = 10 + 3 + 7 = 20

P(Not red marble) = 20/25 = 4/5

Answer: 4/5

Hello!

First you have to find how many marbles there are

5 red
10 blue
3 yellow
7 green

Add these up

5 + 10 + 3 + 7 = 25

To find the probability of not choosing a red marble you put the amount of marbles that are not red over the total amount of marbles

20 non-red marbles
25 marbles in total

So the probability is 20/25

This can be simplified to 4/5

The answer is 4/5

Hope this helps!

Answer:

y + 4 = x

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope-intercept form of an equation of a line:

y=mx+b

m - slope

b - y-intercept → (0, b).

The formula of a slope:

m=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

We have the points A(0, -4) → b = -4 and B(6, 2).

Calculate the slope:

m=\dfrac{2-(-4)}{6-0}=\dfrac{6}{6}=1

Put the value of m and of b to the equation:

y=1x-4 add 4 to both sides

y+4=x

18 cards are numbered from 11 to 29 if one card is chosen at random, what is the probability that if contains the digit
Mumz [18]
What digit? 2?
If it’s two:

“There are 29–10 = 19 cards in total. There are 11 cards that has at least one 2 on it (12, 20–29). The probability of choosing a card with a 2 on it is 11/19.”

Solve the following equation for the given variable. 3(x+6)=-9
saul85 [17]

Hello there,

So we are solving this equation for x and the equation is as follows:

  • 3(x + 6) = -9

First we are going to distribute the 3 inside the parentheses:

  • 3x + 18= = -9

Now we subtract 18 from both sides:

  • 3x = -27

Lastly we are going to divide both sides by 3:

  • x = -9

So the answer to given equation would have to be x = -9.

Hope I helped,

Amna
