What was the most important and lasting impact of the Black Power Movement of the 1960s and 1970s?
Sphinxa [80]

Answer:

Equal Rights.

Explanation:

Before this time, blacks were "free" but with numerous restrictions. The only difference between their enslavement and "freedom" was that they had more protection and had to be paid for work in most scenarios. After the Black Power Movement, they were entitled to many of the same rights as the average white person, but it would still be years before they were as free as they are today.

Why was General Lee's elation over his victory not complete?
arsen [322]
I would assume that c would be the answer, because stonewall jackson had very little importance, other than being used for propaganda. You can always replace a general. But D could also be an answer, but it's very unlikely. And also what victory are you referring to?

Can the mexican-american war be blamed for helping to cause the civil war?
love history [14]
It can. The mexican-american war also dealt with the future of the territories that were involved like the Texas territory. Since the United States won the territories from Mexico, the new colonies wanted to be slave colonies, and the general government disliked this. There would've been fewer slave colonies if they hadn't been conquered.
