The part I enjoy the most about the reading process is mentally translating group of letters into words and stringing them together into sentences which allows us not only to understand what the writer is explaing but also allures our mind into creating an entire universe around simple sentences and that these sentences have the ability to evoke feelings and influence our perception/ideals.
Personally I considered I could improve my retelling since sometimes I'm so in love with the original way a book/story was written that I feel like paraphrasing it or coming up with a remake would be disrespectful, however I do understand that sometimes it is necessary in order to transmit the original message in an innovative way to reach new audiences.
