How do dogs drink water

Business
1 answer:

Because dogs don’t have cheeks, they can’t create suction. To compensate, their tongues slap the water and pull it toward their maw in the form of a liquid column. As this water is suspended in mid-air, they chomp down on it and swallow, repeating the process until they’re satisfied.

To what extent are roads public goods?
igomit [66]

Answer:

Even Nobel economists refer to roads as “important examples of production of public goods,” ( Samuelson and Nordhaus 1985: 48-49). ... If a road is not congested, then one person's use does not effect anyone else. In this case, use is not rival in consumption, and the road is a public good.

Current information for the Healey Company follows:Beginning raw materials inventory $15,200 Raw material purchases 60,000Ending
suter [353]

Answer:

The correct answer is A.

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

Beginning raw materials inventory $15,200

Raw material purchases 60,000

Ending raw materials inventory 16,600

Total direct material used during the period= (15,200 + 60,000 - 16,600)= $58,600

Beginning work in process inventory 22,400

Ending work in process inventory 28,000

Direct labor 42,800

Total factory overhead 30,000

To calculate the cost of goods manufactured we need to use the following formula:

cost of goods manufactured= beginning WIP + direct materials + direct labor + allocated manufacturing overhead - Ending WIP

cost of goods manufactured= 22,400 + 58,600 + 42,800 + 30,000 - 28,000= $125,800

Viktor [21]

Answer: B. Restricted Fund Balance

Explanation:

A Restricted Fund is created when the source of the funds sets certain stipulations for the use of the money which in this case is that the monies should be used for the maintenance of the cemetery. The monies will therefore be restricted to that use alone.

The Unspent Investment Earnings will be reinvested in the Permanent fund at the end of the year. The Permanent Fund is a Restricted fund account therefore the Unspent earnings will be classified as a Restricted fund balance as well.

\text{The job of the} \bold{Procurement\;Manager} \text{has the same responsibilities as the}\bold{Purchasing\;Manager.}

Therefore, all of the possible referred answers are going to be correct.

Name at least one other familiar item besides money that could serve as a model for isotopes
Marina CMI [18]
Pennies or other coins work well as models for isotopes while studying radioactivity. Other objects that can also be used in place of money are paper clips, postage stamps and rubber bands. These objects are used to produce shadowgraphs as all these objects cast shadow when these are exposed to a visible light source.
