The Asian and the African leaders were not in favor of the poem because it was in support of the American colonization.

Explanation:

"The white man's burden" is a poem which was written by Rudyard Kipling. It was the poem that encourages American colonization over the Asian and the African countries and also encourage the the annexation of the Philippine islands.

Since the American colonizers did too much injustice to the people of the African and the Asian countries, therefore the leaders of these countries did not favor the poem "The white man's burden" whose purpose was to encourage the American colonization.
