In 1952, Egypt became an independent government state and by the 1960s and 1970s developed more rapidly than the rest of the Africa. This date refers to the 23rd of July Revolution where Egypt was granted independence from it's dominion status under the British. The new Egyptian government then established a nationalist and anti-imperialist governance.
