B would be really effective I'm sure but I don't know because D kind of hooks me. Probably the answer is B but D panders to me personally for some reason. But it's safe to say that this:
"For several years after the death of her husband Albert, Queen Victoria of England remained in mourning."
is a little bit more clear than this:
"Queen Victoria of England remained in mourning for several years after the death of her husband, Albert." and it varies the sentences pretty effectively.

What main point does Eric Schlosser make in chapter 9
Oksana_A [137]
Schlosser next focuses on the safety not just of factory workers in the meatpacking industry, but of the meat itself that that industry produces. Schlosser notes, throughout the chapter, that it is actually quite difficult to track the source of food-borne pathogens in the United States. There are several reasons for this, some more preventable than others: a great deal of meat is produced in this country; government oversight in meatpacking plants is rather low; and meat production is a complex system with many inputs, making cause and effect hard to determine.

Why was the narrator grieving?
pishuonlain [190]

The narrator is grieving because he left his tribe and his grandmother and uncle died, as shown in the second answer option.

How is it possible to identify that the narrator is in mourning?

 • The narrator presents the first-person point of view, which means that he is a character and will show everything he knows about the story and the feelings and thoughts he has.
 • In this case, when we read the text, we can see that the narrator leaves his tribe to study at a school in the city.
 • This is necessary for the narrator to have a quality education.
 • However, the narrator is sad to have to leave his home, in addition, he states that this sadness increased with the news he received soon after.

This news showed that the narrator's uncle and grandmother died and he couldn't even say goodbye, as he was too far away.

This question is about "You don't have to say you love me."
