The mission of the uic college of nursing is to transform health, healthcare, and policy through knowledge generation and translation, and education of future leaders from diverse backgrounds. our vision is to be a preeminent leader in advancing global health and nursing. please comment on how you can contribute to the uic mission and vision as a student and alumni.

I can contribute to the UIC mission and vision as a student and alumni making the following things:
- strive toward being the best student by getting excellent grades
 - being involved in school clubs that promote diversity
- doing community service in at- risk neighborhoods. 
- volunteer at veterans clinics 
- continue my education to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.

In order to donate towards the UIC's vision and mission, one needs to focus towards becoming the best student by attaining excellent grades, should involve in school clubs, which encourage diversity, and perform community service in at-risk neighborhoods.  

After one graduate, one should demonstrate what he or she has learned and should apply that towards the prime goal, that is, to volunteer at clinics, and also should continue the education to achieve higher positions.
