8 \times 977 = 8 \times (1000 - 23) = 8000 - 8(23) = 8000 - 8(25-2) = 8000 - 200 + 16 = 7816

8 \times 977 = 8 \times (975 + 2) = 16 + 8 \times 900 + 8 \times 75 = 16 + 7200 + 24 \times 25 = 7216 + 600 = 7816

Why does it work? Mostly the distributive law.

Please someone explain the question and explain the answers probably
Taya2010 [7]
Okay so all you are doing is filling out the char to do this you fine the increasing rate or the pattern. so 2*3=6 5*3=15 so the pattern is that you are multiplying every input by 3 so 0*3=0
1*3=3
3*3=9
4*3=12
then to fine the differences you just simply write how much you increased or decreased so every difference for this chart will be +3 hope this helped you have an amazing day!!!!

(Help me with this test question) Lines l and m are intersected by transversal t and l || m. Lines l and m are vertical with l t
Dafna1 [17]

Answer:

<2 and <3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that lines l and m are parallel to each other, and crossed by the transversal line t, the angles formed that are supplementary to <1 are <2 and <3.

<1 and <2 are linear pair. Their sum equal 180°.

<1 and <2 are also a linear pair. Their sum equal 180°.

Therefore, that are supplementary to <1 are <2 and <3.
