14 + 10 + 9 + 13 =  46 rings in the machine of which 14 are pink.

\frac{14}{46} =  \frac{7}{23}

7/23 = .3043 (the number keeps going but we only have to go out to the ten thousandth place) rounded to the nearest thousandths is .304

Eitan randomly selected volcanoes to travel to and study. After traveling, he had seen 13 cinder cone volcanoes, 18 shield volca
snow_lady [41]

Answer: Probability of getting one volcano in the world on which to conduct an extensive study is \frac{1}{37}

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Number of cinder cone volcanoes = 13

Number of shield volcanoes = 18

Number of stratovolcanoes = 6

Total number of volcanoes  is given by

13+18+6\\\\=37

So, Probability of selecting one volcano in the world on which to conduct an extensive study is given by

\frac{\text{Number of favourable outcomes}}{\text{Total number of outcomes}}\\\\=\frac{1}{37}

Hence, Probability of getting one volcano in the world on which to conduct an extensive study is \frac{1}{37}

What is the midpoint between z1 = -8 + 3i and z2 = 4 + 7i?
I am Lyosha [343]

Answer:

Therefore, Mid point : -2+5i.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given  :  Z1 = -8 + 3i and Z2 = 4 + 7i.

To find : What is the midpoint.

Solution : We have given  Z1 = -8 + 3i and Z2 = 4 + 7i.

Mid point :  \frac{z_{1}+z_{2}}{2}.

On plugging the values.

Mid point :  \frac{-8+3i + 4 +7i}{2}.

Combine like terms.

Mid point :  \frac{-8+4+3i +7i}{2}.

Mid point :  \frac{-4+10i}{2}.

Mid point : -2+5i.

Therefore, Mid point : -2+5i.
