What events lead up to the case going before the Supreme court
SVEN [57.7K]

Before a case reaches the Supreme Court, a few things need to happen.

Usually, the case begins in Federal District Court. After that court makes a decision, it makes its way to the Federal Circuit Court of Appeal for the region it originated in.

After that, the losing party would appeal to the Supreme Court. The Justices meet and decide which cases they want to hear, or grant a writ of certiorari to for that term.

Granting a writ of "cert" is a rare thing but it it is the final step before a case makes it to SCOTUS.

Over many generations man has chosen certain desirable characteristics in dogs by allowing dogs possessing those characteristics
GalinKa [24]

Answer:

Selective or Intentional Breeding

Explanation:

Intentional breeding or selective breeding is the intentional breeding of plants and animals. It is utilised to breed the domestic animals with the desired traits. Hence the animal with desired qualities are chosen for the breeding. Selective breeding can also lead to inbreeding and loss of fertility and to prevent this many breeds are back crossed or out crossed to wild-type individuals. It can be unintentional also such as the domestication of crops by early humans happened unintentionally. The varieties of dogs like Chihuahua and Great Dane clearly show the desired traits that can be achieved by selective breeding.
