Answer:

Europe split into Allied and Central powers as countries honored alliances to fight together if attacked.

Explanation:

In the times following the Austrian collapse in connections with Serbia, the rest of Europe, including Russia’s associates, Britain and France, seemed on with alarm, apprehending the expected disruption of a Balkans dispute that, if penetrated into by Russia, frightened to split into a general European war. The British Foreign Office requested its equivalents in Berlin, Paris, and Rome with the plan of a global organization directed at reducing the dispute; the German administration, though, was set against this idea and suggested Vienna go forward with its ideas.

What was the idea of the 442nd? Were they successful? Why or why not?
Lorico [155]

As Nisei, or second-generation Japanese Americans, and American-born sons of Japanese immigrants during World War II, they needed to put everything on the line to "win big." For these Nisei, they were fighting to win two wars: the war against the Germans in Europe and the war against racial prejudice in America. For their valor the 442nd Regiment has been recognized as the most decorated unit in American history. They earned more than 18,000 awards, including 9,500 Purple Hearts, 5,200 Bronze Star Medals, 588 Silver Stars, 52 Distinguished Service Crosses, 7 Distinguished Unit Citations, and one Congressional Medal of Honor.
