Let the measures of three angles be 5x, 7x, 8x
Sum of angles of a triangle = 180°
5x + 7x+ 8x = 180°
20x = 180
x = 180/20 = 9
First angle = 5x = 5*9 = 45°
Second angle = 7x = 7*9 = 63°
Third angle = 8x = 8*9 = 72°
I hope it is helpful:D

Step-by-step explanation: In this problem, we are given that the measures of the angles of a triangle are in the ratio 5:7:8 and we are asked to find the measure of each angle.

When the ratio of the angles is 5:7:8, we can represent the angles as 5x, 7x, and 8x.

5x ⇒ first angle

7x ⇒ second angle

8x ⇒ third angle

Since the measures of the angles of a triangle add to 180°, we can set up an equation.

5x + 7x + 8x = 180

20x = 180

÷20   ÷20

  X = 9

Now to find the measures of each of our angles, we simply plug 9 back in for x.

5x ⇒ first angle = 45°

7x ⇒ second angle = 63°

8x ⇒ third angle = 72°

an office building is 5 times as tall as a house. if the difference in their height is 100, how tall is the building
nalin [4]

Answer: 20

20 since you have to divide 100 by 5 which equals 20 since you have to use the inverse operation of multiplication which is division.

Hope this helps!

Which statements accurately describe how to determine the y-intercept and the slope from the graph below?
Andru [333]

Answer:

Select one of the two bottom statements which both read "To find the y-intercept, begin at the origin and move vertically to the graphed line. To find the slope, use two ordered pairs on the line and substitute into the equation ."

Step-by-step explanation:

The y-intercept of a function is the point where the graph intersects the y-axis. Since the y-axis is the vertical line through the origin, we can start at the origin (0,0) and move up or down to where the line crosses the axis. This (0,y) point is the y-intercept. It is always (0,y) because it is located on the y-axis where x=0.

The slope of a function of a function is the rise/run or rate of change of the function. It can be seen on the graph of a line between any two coordinate pairs of the line. We know it as the variable m in linear function equations. To find it using an equation, we chose the point-slope form yy_{2}-y_{1} = m(x_{2}-x_{1}). We substitute two coordinate pairs from the line for (x_{1},y_{1} ) and (x_{2},y_{2}) to find the missing value m or slope of the line.

Money is invested into an account earning 4.25% interest compounded annually. If the accumulated value after 18 years will be $2
Lunna [17]
We are given with the following:
Effective annual interest, i = 0.0425
Future worth, F = $25000
Number of years, n = 18

We use the formula to solve for the present worth of the money:
P = F / (1 + i)^n
P = 25000 / (1 + 0.0425)^18
P = 11818.73

The closest answer is:
<span>b.
