Answer: Part A- Your situation or problem could involve any political, internal, or interpersonal conflict. Look at these examples:

A well-meaning politician from a small town gets elected to a major office and has to confront pressure to engage in corrupt acts.

A 15-year-old girl witnesses a criminal act and has to decide whether to tell her parents or the authorities, although sharing this information might put her in danger.

Part B - Your answer should include the name of each character and a description of some major and minor characters. For main characters, you should include information about their physical appearance and family situation, as well as their personalities and values.

Part C- The main character witnesses the crime.

She shares what she saw with a trusted friend.

She considers whether to change her look so she won't be identified by the perpetrator of the crime.

Her younger brother asks her about standing up to a bully at school, which prompts her to think about her own dilemma.

She pokes around for information about the person she saw commit the crime.

She imagines a debate in which character A and character B give her opposing advice.

She devises a strategy for effectively reporting the crime.

Answer:

Dear user

When we become a teenager, we start feeling various changes in ourselves.

Our outlook, the way we communicate, our perception etc changes too.

The world also has become a vast field of choices due to development.

We have to build our ambitions and work on becoming a better person.

But the dilemma of which way to choose leads us to depression certain times.

Our choices can lead towards a successful life or can also destroy us.

Thus, we have to be very careful while deciding things for ourselves.

Explanation:

There are certain crucial points in our lives wherein we have to take decisions based on our own discretion and choice.

However, if one is not allowed to decide on one’s own, then it may come out to be a turning point in one’s life negatively.

Such problems usually arise in the lives of teenagers when they are not allowed to opt for their streams of subject and their careers voluntarily.

It is important for a child to realize interest areas and decide accordingly. Parents’ guidance is necessary in their decision but parents need to check whether it is a guidance or a force.

I wanted to learn guitar since childhood. My parents were against it as they thought it would take a toll on my studies. Yet, I managed to make my point clear and ended up learning music. I am happy and self-motivated.

On the other hand, one thing I would like to change is the coming to boarding school. I and my parents thought it would teach me to be self dependent and to be confident. But now I think I am bereft of my parents’ guidance. At this age, I could have lived an altogether a different kind of a life.

Naddik [55]

                               My Answer:

It also means more autonomy and control for the profession as a whole. Under professional self-regulation, the regulatory body for a profession is able to set entry requirements and standards for practicing the profession, rather than having government, or another profession, impose requirements on the profession.

HELP ASAP! The statement below is fallacious. Indicate which fallacy the speaker has committed:
I am Lyosha [343]

Answer:

Conjunction Fallacy

Explanation:

The Conjunction Fallacy is a formal fallacy when one uses evidence that a combination-- or conjunction-- of two possible events are more likely than one of the other events. The speaker only uses two events: "...that the Yankes lose the first game of the series, or that they lose the first game and come back to win?" and combines the two in the latter pondering.

The Base Rate Fallacy is a paradox that explains situations where there is more than one false factoid of evidence. The speaker doesn't address false evidence and decide upon it, so this can't be the answer.

The fallacy (law) of small numbers is an informal fallacy when one reaches a decision based on insufficient evidence. While it's true that the speaker doesn't have enough evidence, they also don't have any-- thence the answer is the Conjunction Fallacy.

The Regression to the Mean fallacy is an informal fallacy when one explains something by its probabilistic nature-- not based on evidence. The speaker explains that they simply "...expect the Yankees to win the series, so [they'll] take the second choice."
