I believe A is correct,
My guess are A,C, and D.
If I remember correctly, land, sense its a soli, can hold heat longer then water because it has more particles then water does. Also, the air above the water would be colder then the over land because( Bare with me here its been awhile so sorry if this sounds weird XD) lets say if its colder in north America then south America. The wind start traveling south towards south America over the water. So the cold air is coming from over the water so the air over the water would be colder. I know the answer it just a little hard to explain. I really hope I helped in some way! XD

When hydrogen is attached to the more highly electronegative oxygen atom in a water molecule?
Mandarinka [93]

Here is the full question with choices: When hydrogen is attached to the more highly electronegative oxygen atom in a water molecule, __________.?

A. the hydrogen atom becomes partially positive

B. the electronegative atom becomes strongly positive

C. the hydrogen atom becomes partially negative

D. the oxygen atom becomes partially negative

The answers are A and D. The oxygen holds onto the electrons more of the time so is slightly negative, making H slightly positive and thus making a polar covalent bond.
