(4) Specifically, that’s about 3–4 million cats and dogs who are adopted each year from shelters. (5) Finally, 6–8 million enter shelters. Which transition in the paragraph should be revised? Revise “for example” at the beginning of Sentence 2. Revise “however” at the beginning of Sentence 3. Revise “specifically” at the beginning of Sentence 4. “Finally” at the beginning of sentence 5 because it makes no sense in the context of the previous sentence and the paragraph in general. Even thought it is the final sentence in the paragraph, the transition doesn’t work in this case.
Hope this helps!

Answer:

4. Revise “finally” at the beginning of Sentence 5.

Explanation:

Finally should be revised as its inconsistent with the order with which the writer has placed his points. If he had arranged the points with connectors such as firstly, secondly, then finally can be added to cap it all.

"for example" is correct  because the trend of what mentioned before requires an analogy to buttress on the point

"However" is also correct which means "on the other hand". It depicts the other side of the thoughts that has been raised earlier.

Daylight saving time, do you think we should have 1 hour ahead or behind
Anarel [89]

According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, daylight saving time saves energy. Since the sun sets one hour later in the evenings, the need to use electricity for household lighting and appliances is reduced. The same can be applied for the morning hours, as most people will wake up after the sun has risen.

In 2008, the U.S. Department of Energy studied the impact of the extended daylight saving time on energy consumption and found that the extra four weeks saved about 0.5% in total electricity per day. While that number might seem small, it added up to electricity savings of 1.3 billion kilowatt-hours — or the amount of electricity used by more than 100,000 households for an entire year, according to the department website.
