The oil crisis was when Iranian Oil no longer was sold in the U.S. and it was a problem because that was where the oil came from and caused a shortage. I'm gonna say the first one?
They were expected to give the mother country with resources that would otherwise be unobtainable without trading or buying it from another country
It was constantly attacked by foreign countries and this made it get weaker
This is called critical patriotism.
