Answer:

c

Step-by-step explanation:

I'm pretty sure your answer would be c since the x and y are always the opposite of each other whenever they're in this form therefore if the point is (2, -6), in the equation it'd be y+6, x-2. Also, you can rule out the first two because their slope isn't -3/4.

If you want to check, all you have to do is plug in either x or the y.

-6+6=-3/4(x-2)        y+6=-3/4(2-2)

0=-3/4(x-2)             y+6=-3/4(0)

0=x-2                      y+6=0

x=2                          y=-6

-32=4(y-5)-7y
solve for y
Savatey [412]

Answer:

y= 4

Step-by-step explanation:

-32= 4(y -5) -7y

Expand:

-32= 4y -20 -7y

Simplify:

-32= -3y -20

+20 on both sides:

20 -32= -3y

Simplify:

-12= -3y

Divide both sides by -3:

y= -12 ÷(-3)

y= 4

A box sits on a table. A short arrow labeled F subscript N = 100 N points up. A short arrow labeled F subscript g = 100 N points
shusha [124]

A box sits on a table. A short arrow labeled F subscript N = 100 N points up. A short arrow labeled F subscript g = 100 N points down. A long arrow labeled F subscript P = 75 N points right. A short arrow labeled F subscript f = 10 N points left. Then  net force acting on the box IS 65N

What is net force?

Net force is final force acting on any object .

Here given that

A box sits on a table. A short arrow labeled F subscript N = 100 N points up. A short arrow labeled F subscript g = 100 N points down. A long arrow labeled F subscript P = 75 N points right. A short arrow labeled F subscript f = 10 N points left

So we can see it in diagram that force in upper direction and lower direction is same 100N so this force will be cancelled out

Now force in right side is 75N and in left side force is 10N

So net force = (75-10)=65N in right side

A box sits on a table. A short arrow labeled F subscript N = 100 N points up. A short arrow labeled F subscript g = 100 N points down. A long arrow labeled F subscript P = 75 N points right. A short arrow labeled F subscript f = 10 N points left. Then  net force acting on the box IS 65N
