Answer:

I am taking my first programming course, so my apologies if this is a dumb question/possibly classified by the wrong category on this site. One of the exercise problems I am working on is the following:

Define a function print_total_inches, with parameters num_feet and num_inches, that prints the total number of inches. Note: There are 12 inches in a foot. Ex:

print_total_inches(5, 8) prints:

Total inches: 68

So the equation is 2x + y = 9
you want to solve the equation so that y is on one side. in order to do this you need to subtract 2x from BOTH sides to get y by itself.
after, you should get y = 9 - 2x

Find the the domain codomain and range of the graph
Aloiza [94]

Answer:

Domain: All Real numbers

CoDomain : All Real numbers

Range: \left\{y|y\geq 0 \right\}; that is: Real numbers larger than or equal to zero

Step-by-step explanation:

Notice that the graphed function can use any Real number x (from - infinity to + infinity) and produce an output.  Therefore, the Domain of the function plotted in graph 3 is : All Real numbers.

The set of possible outputs (CoDomain) is also the set of all Real numbers (notice that the y-axis extends form - infinity to + infinity

But the Range (the actual set of the collection of outputs of the function) is just a subset of the CoDomain consisting of the Real numbers larger than or equal to zero (notice that the drawing of the function touches the x axis and lies completely on the upper half of the plane.

can someone please explain to me on how to find the GCF in like bigger numbers. for example the picture shows one of the problem
VARVARA [1.3K]
\dfrac{25}{40} = \dfrac{25 \div 5}{40 \div 5} = \dfrac{5}{8}

Answer: GCF = 5

<u>To find GCF:
</u>
25 = 5 x 5
40 = 5 x 8

GCF ⇒ Find the common factors.
Here, there is only 5 that is common. So 5 is the GCF.

Llana [10]
Our equation would be 20+4n=A

20 represents the cost of the first sheet and then we add plus 4n which represents each additional sheets which leads out to A, our average cost per sheet.
