Part A: what was the scarcer resource in the video??

English

Amiraneli [1.4K]3 years ago

Part A: According to a different source, this video shows how water is an extremely scarce resource in Mexico City. This poses a variety of problems for its citizens.

Part B: Water can have several important uses. It is used for irrigation of crops. It is also used for drinking and for household tasks such as cleaning, washing and cooking.

Part C: Some of the city's residents have become activists in order to deal with the problem of water scarcity. Others buy bottled water to deal with the shortage, while others organize their lives around the availability or the lack of water.

Part D: One of the strategies I would suggest would be fixing the leaks in the water system, which would ensure that all treated water reaches its destination. I would also suggest educating the population on the importance of water and the strategies they can follow to have clean water for longer.

Part E: The main resource that would stop my plans from being implemented would be money. Money can be scarce in Mexico, and this can make it difficult to implement solutions such as fixing a leaking system or starting education campaigns.

Marizza181 [45]

Answer:

Amir has a rich background while Hassan has a poor background.

Explanation:

The descriptions of Amir's possessions are those of a person who is rich. He has a magnificent house and he has a red brick driveway which also suggests that he also owns cars. This implies that he must be rich or that he must come from a rich family because it is only a rich person that can afford to own these things.

Hassan on the other walks towards a little mud hut which also implies that he must come from a poor and humble background.

Which scenario is an example of extrinsic motivation? The doorbell rang, but Manny didn't answer; he felt too exhausted for visi
hichkok12 [17]

Extrinsic motivation is driven by external factors , which will make people do things to gain external benefits. Thus, the scenario that exemplifies extrinsic motivation is the fact that Lacey ran into a heated shop to warm up, when the temperature suddenly dropped. What made Lacey react in that way so that he could take shelter from the weather ? An external factor: extremely cold temperature. The other examples stand for intrinsic motivation since the drive that activates a certain behaviour in those people comes from within their own selves: not feeling like answering the door; feeling guilty and confessing ; and loving animals and volunteering for rescuing them.

In less than two hundred words, explain how debt creates modern-day slaves.
Vladimir79 [104]

Question :

In less than two hundred words, explain how debt creates modern-day slaves.

Warning:

I wrote this very breifly, you may want to change this up a little or delete some sentences to make it your 200 word limit. Rephrase some words so it doesn't come off a plagarising although I brefily rephrased it already.

Essay:

How does debt create modern day slavery Word Count: 376

Debt slavery, a.k.a. Debt slavery or bonded labor, is the commitment of a person's services as protection for the payment for the loan or additional responsibility, Where the policies of the payment are not clearly or fairly stated, and the individual who is carrying the loan and therefore has some power over the laborer, Does not wish to always acknowledge that this debt has been repaid. The companies needed to pay the debt may be undefined, and the companies' time may remain vague, so providing the individual supposedly owed the loan to demand services indefinitely. Loan slavery will be passed on from generation to generation. The government cannot force people to repay their debts, but it can take them out of the system and make them pay back in full. If a person is unable to repay his debts, he or she will have to go through a series of repayments.

Families finding themselves deeply enmeshed in the method of debt slavery and faced with specific opportunities to remove their liabilities, some farming families passed off or went often in search of better employment opportunities. In result, landowners used armed riders to manage and punish the farmers running on their land. Some famlies are forced to sell their land to pay the debt while others are forced to sell their children illegally because they don't want to be tied down with the burden of praying for their own food.

Global labor list study data reveals that about 18 million people, 1.4 % of india’s overall population, are victims of modern-day labor. Debt bondage, the kind of forced labor that compels the individual to be to pay off the loan – much from preceding generations – is the most common form of contemporary slavery in India. Men, women, and children are all employed in debt sex and forced to work at brick kilns, grain factories, farming, and mills. Forced labour also happens outside of debt sex; kids are exploited to be as carpet weavers, housing servants, and beggars, also as in factories and farming.

Altough slavery and human trafficking is banned in most countries it is still a very common practice. It has been practiced since ancient times and continues to be practiced.

Alternate Ending Rough Draft Portfolio:
Genrish500 [490]

By following the author's style it is meant to trying to keep as close as you can to the choice of words and overall style of writing of the author, surely it is impossible to be a carbon copy of the production of someone you even do not know in person.

Basically you will have to do it the hard way, read the story, take some notes on vocabulary used, how the characters behave, how detailed the background is, and then, re-do the ending.

Once I was told that when one writes something it normally means that a great deal of what as written before will never come into the open, that is, writers try, try and try until they get what they believe is at least satisfactory.
