The Constitutional Principle of Separation of Powers was written by Charles-Louis de Secondat, Baron de La Brède et de Montesquieu, or simply referred to as Montesquieu. He was a French lawyer and political philosopher during the Age of Enlightenment of the 18th century. His work has since been used by many constitutions in different countries.

After Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia on July 28, 1914, there was a flurry of activity across Europe. The first, and arguably most important, event happened on the same day. Russia, Serbia's main ally, mobilized its military and prepared to defend Serbia.
