The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Colonists might have responded to Johnson's statement in anger and upset. They might say that they were still English citizens living in the American colonies and they should have and exert the same rights as the people living in Britain.

The issue was summarized in the famous quote "Taxation with no representation is tyranny," The British government imposed heavy taxation to the colonists such as the Navigation Acts, the Sugar, Act, the Stamp, Act or the Tea Act, that infuriated the colonists that had to pay taxes but did not have a voice or representation in the British Parliament.

Base your answer(s) to the following question(s) on the quotation below and on your knowledge of social studies.
svp [43]
A) the enlightenment

Why: because these ideas reflect the enlightenment a time of when the ideas of free press, rule by the people of the people for the people, separation of powers, etc. were emerging through Europe.

Also Social Darwinism is basically racism
Feudalism is filed by a lord who owns your land.
Communism is where everyone is supposed to be equal but then the people who worked for their stuff gets it taken away in the name of equality so no one has a motivation to improve and everyone ends up starving to death like in Russia and Ukraine and China where hundreds of millions of people literally died from starving. Look up the Ukraine famine where millions of people starved to death in a span of like 2 years. Communism is bad.
