Bioprinting refers to an extension of conventional three-dimensional printing. It can help in generating bone, living tissue, blood vessels, and possibly the entire organs for applications in medical approaches, examination, and testing.

The given statement is True. Though the invention of bioprinting is regarded as a revolutionary advancement and as a solution to organ failure, organ destruction, and others, there are various ethical concerns regarding it. These concerns are regarding human testing at the time of experimental phases, and complications like irreversibility and others.

If ADH levels decrease or if ADH is bound by something in your body, you would expect that:_________
algol13

Answer:

Amount of urine and plasma osmolarity increases

Explanation:

Anti-diuretic hormone or ADH is the hormone produced by the posterior part of the pituitary glands when the osmoreceptors sense the low level of water in the body.

The ADH once released binds to the ADH receptors in the collecting tubules which are usually permeable to water. ADH causes the opening of the aquaporins II in the collecting tubules which causes the reabsorption of water back in the blood.

If ADH amount decreases then the water is nor re-absorbed in the tubules and thus is excreted out with the urine causing the production of increased concentration of urine.

Thus, Amount of urine and plasma osmolarity increases is the correct answer.

Predict the method that estrogen will initiate the reception process in its cell signaling pathway.
andrew-mc [135]

Answer:

d. Estrogen will bind to a receptor protein that enters the nucleus and activates specific genes.

Explanation:

Estrogens are small lipophilic molecules synthesized from cholesterol. This steroid hormone (estrogen) is able to directly enter into the cell nucleus to bind with their corresponding receptors. Subsequently, estrogen-receptor binding stimulates these receptors to form dimeric structures that bind to DNA and thus activate gene expression. Estrogen receptors interact with DNA and activate gene expression through zinc finger domains composed of four (4) cysteine residues surrounding a zinc atom.
