Some Similarities between Islam and Christianity are that both are monotheistic religions: that is they believe that there is only only good (unlike Hinduism and ancient Greek religion)

Further, they both believe that the God spoke to Abraham- that's why they're both called Abrahamic religions.

They both believe in some people to whom the God spoke, including Jesus (but for Islam Jesus is only a prophet, not a God)
