Hatshepsut

Hatshepsut was the fifth pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. She was the second historically confirmed female pharaoh. She is generally regarded by Egyptologists as one of the most successful pharaohs, reigning longer than any other woman of an indigenous Egyptian dynasty.

She might have ruled together with her nephew Thumtose III at the beginning of her rule. She is famous for her expedition to Punt, and also building lots of temples and monuments. She ruled Egypt at the pick of its power.
