The correct answer is the Civil War

When Lincoln was reelected the country was engulfed in the Civil War and Lincoln was reelected based on the idea that he would help end the war which indeed did happen soon after his reelection. At the same time however, he was assassinated just 2 months into his second term so Andrew Johnson became the president.

The theories of Hamilton are most persuasive when upholding Legal procedure.

Explanation:

One of its main themes of the Washington government was the clash between Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson on the organization of a two-party system,

Hamilton's strategy for the National Bank formed a controversy along the same lines,

Hamilton and the Federalists supporting the National Bank, while Jefferson and the Democratic-Republicans opposed it.

This makes sense to give Parliament the freedom to act and understanding necessary to deal with different situations.

Yet, as Jefferson suggests, the laws that grant Congress so much authority if the legal system shall not be upheld. Recall that for Jefferson he advocated the Constitution's act, so the clause was not as meaningful for him as the Amendment could be amended to respond to new needs.

The present increase in numbers of the Negro people of the United States grows out of a deep and passion- ate strong desire/formal decision about something to make freedom and (state where all things are equal) a reality "here" and "now." In one sense the (the right to vote, to free speech, to fair and equal treatment, etc.,) movement in the United States is a special American important thing/big event which must be understood in the light of American history and dealt with in terms of the American situation. But on another and more important level, what is happening in the United States today is a significant part of a world development.
