Where did portugal and spain claim land in the western hemisphere

Social Studies

Basically: everywhere - and not only in the western hemisphere, they claimed all lands that were not claimed by another country that they respected the authority of.

There was actually this very interesting treaty, where Spain and Portugal divided the world (Treaty of Tordesillas), where they divided the world (expect for Europe) among themselves. That left Americas almost completely in the hands of the Spanish, and Africa in the hands of the Portuguese.

How does geography impact the relationship among countries in southwest asia
likoan [24]

The geography of Southwest Asia opens up a space for a good connection between the countries and thus to create similar, if not same, cultural traits because of the absence of natural blockades between them, so the communication is easily manageable. Still, the region is dominated by deserts, so even though there's no big mountain ranges between them, it makes it difficult, apart from the coastal areas. Now even though the open terrain usually contributes to good relations, it occasionally causes problems as well, and this region is a perfect example of that, because lots of the countries are in very bad relations.

The correct answer is this - <span>this research would not require IRB review because it would be eligible for exemption since the researcher is not interacting with the children and the playground is a public setting.
If the conditions were a little bit different, then his IRB review would also require different results. However, since there is no real interaction with the children, but rather only observation, an IRB review is not necessary in this case and can be avoided.

Answer: C) This is not plagiarism

Explanation: A writer or speaker will be accused of Plagiarism if he or she uses the words or ideas of other authors as though the ideas or words were originally his or her own by not properly acknowledging the words or ideas he borrowed and also not properly citing the author.

In the student's write up, the words or ideas he borrowed from the author didn't need to be put inside quotation marks because he paraphrased them and properly cited the author of those words, that is legal and would not result to plagiarism.
