To begin with, Romanticism developed as a reaction to the neoclassical or Augustan movement in literature as well as in reaction against the Enlightment.

Neoclassical considered the role of the writer or artist as one of cultural transmission and craftsmanship, working within a society and expressing its ideals.

The Enlightenment thinkers strongly believed in rationality and science. They believed that the natural world and even human behavior could be explained scientifically. They also considered that they could use the scientific method to improve human society.

On the other hand, the Romantics rejected the notion of reason and science. They viewed the scientific worldview as cold and sterile. Theybelieved that science and material progress result in a lack of humanity. Instead of reason, the Romantics exalted emotions as well as feelings. They considered intuition and emotions as important sources of knowledge.

Dear Mr. Townsend,
velikii [3]

Just looking at the answers, I can see it must be B- While the e-mail contains formal language in the body, the salutation is formatted incorrectly and the contact information is missing.

We can see at the end Marissa Lee says she will add her contact info, but it appears to be missing. In addition, the salutation needs to include the name and position of the receiver.

I hope this helps! :)

What these two sonnets, 116 and 55 have in common is that they both speak about romantic Love. This can be seen in the last lines of sonnet 55: So, till the Judgement that yourself arise, /You live in this, and dwell in lovers’ eyes. And the middle of sonnet 116: Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks /Within his bending sickle's compass come.

They differ tho, in the fact that sonnet 116 speaks about Love in general, while sonnet 55 speaks about love for a particular person. Also, sonnet 55 speaks a lot about time, death and decay, and how and love and poetry overcome that.
