Gatsby has obviously never met a girl like daisy that’s why she intrigues him, he’s used to average girls but daisy is the first girl to make him feel the way he does

This sentence differs from the other ones that you've given us because it seems more active, more lively. There is something actually happening here, and the exclamation marks show that it is happening fast.
