4 0

1) 5x-2x+6-4

5(2)-2(2)+6-4    So plug in 2 for x

Solve on calculator or just distribute it out

10-4+6-4

6+6-4

12-4

8 is your answer

4) 4x-8 is the same as 2(2x-4) if you distribute this out your outcome would be 4x-8

5)

a) 2(3x+4)

6x+8

b)-4(5x+5)

-20x-20

c) -2x+2(4x+1)

Pemdas so

-2x+8x+2

6x+2

d) 5x+2(3x-4)-10

5x+6x-8-10

11x-18

Hope that helps!

Answer:

recursive: f(0) = 7; f(n) = f(n-1) -8

explicit: f(n) = 7 -8n

Step-by-step explanation:

The sequence is an arithmetic sequence with first term 7 and common difference -8. Since you're numbering the terms starting with n=0, the generic case will be ...

recursive: f(0) = first term; f(n) = f(n-1) + common difference

explicit: f(n) = first term + n·(common difference)

To get the answer above, fill in the first term and common difference values.

Which expression is equivalent to StartRoot 128 x Superscript 8 Baseline y cubed z Superscript 9 Baseline EndRoot? Assume y grea
Nataly [62]

Answer:

Option C.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given expression is

\sqrt{128x^8y^3z^9}

It can be written as

\sqrt{(64\cdot 2)\cdot x^8\cdot y^{2+1}\cdot z^{8+1}}

=\sqrt{8^2\cdot 2\cdot (x^4)^2\cdot y^{2}\cdot y\cdot (z^{4})^2\cdot z}

=\sqrt{(8x^4yz^4)^2\cdot 2yz}

=8x^4yz^4\sqrt{2yz}

Therefore, the correct option is C.

WILL GIVE BRAINEST!!! PLEASE HELP
erik [133]

Answer:

1.) The point (24,30) would not be on the line

2.) The point (12,13) would not be on the line either

4.) The slope is a fraction of 2/1

Bonus: y = (2/1)x - 2

Step-by-step explanation:

For question three, I looked at the (6,10) point on the graph and compared it with the (a,8) point. That showed me that the y coordinate always moves by 2. Then I looked at the (6,10) coordinate and the (a,8) coordinate and the (4,b) coordinate and saw that there was one x coordinate between 6 and 4 so it must be five. That means the x coordinate moves by 1.

Let me know if you need more help!
