I'm not sure what the story "To Build a Fire" is, but I hope I can help you by telling you that "third person" is when the characters/protagonist are described through "he", "she", etc. and "omniscient point of view" is all seeing, therefore, options 2 and 4 are impossible.

It is definitely the 1 first answer because it shows that third person omniscient explains the thoughts of more than one person

SCORPION-xisa [38]

The evidence Levitt and Dubner present in response to the counterclaim is that 7-7 wresters' results drop (first option).

What is a counterclaim?

This is a statement that disproves the main claim or thesis. Moreover, this can be answered by providing evidence that disproves the counterclaim.

What evidence do Levitt and Dubner present?

The counterclaim is that a 7-7 is more likely to win, this can be disproved through the detail that these wrestlers' results drop because this shows they are not more likely to win than others.

Note: This question is incomplete because the options are missing; here are the options:

In the next match, 7-7 wrestlers' results drop below their predicted percentage.

The 7-7 wrestlers do well against both 8-6 and 9-5 opponents.

Wrestling matches only last a few seconds and are won by a quick exertion of force.

Wrestlers from the same stable do not oppose one another.

The men left after Scout kept talking a lot to Mr. Cunningham because at the beginning, Mr. Cunningham didn't want to admit that he was Mr. Cunningham. But later, Scout kept on talking to him and then he finally admitted that he was Mr. Cunningham, and then they left. While Scout was talking to them, she said some impressive things. Like for example, why are they doing this to Tom Robinson, and then she expresses her feelings to them.

Schach [20]

Answer:

C: John, you look sick. What's wrong?

Explanation:

While all the other sentences only manifest opinions, suggestions, and decisons already made concerning John's condition and care, even some despair, the sentence in C, besides mentioning his appearance, also allows John to express what or how he is feeling by asking 'what's wrong?', which is a form of dialogue, and the inclusion of someone's opinion.
