I'm not sure what the story "To Build a Fire" is, but I hope I can help you by telling you that "third person" is when the characters/protagonist are described through "he", "she", etc. and "omniscient point of view" is all seeing, therefore, options 2 and 4 are impossible.

It is definitely the 1 first answer because it shows that third person omniscient explains the thoughts of more than one person

The correct answer is A.

Earlier in the chapter, Woolf writes: It was disappointing not to have brought back in the evening some important statement, some authentic <span>fact.
</span>
Thus, she wants facts to back up her claim.

By citing a historian, Woolf is making it clear that she is basing her argument on facts. Otherwise, one might claim she is exaggerating or making up stories. Instead, she is saying that such customs were fact and considered commonplace by both "high as well as low."

Read the first sentence of "Code Talkers.”
Ivanshal [37]

Hi There!

Question - Cryptology, the study and use of secret codes, has been an important component of US military strategy since it was first used in the American Revolution to hide sensitive communications from British forces.

How does the author introduce the reader to code talkers?

Answer - by presenting an interesting fact

Why - The reason I say its option A is because the fact that it makes the most sense in a way that, the other options don't make any sense. Option B says telling an entertaining story when its not a story. Option C makes no sense because the first sentence dosen't contain a quotation. Option D makes no sense because the first sentence dosen't ask a question.

Hope This Helps :)

Both Peter and Anne don't get along with their mothers mainly because of the generation gap seprating teenagers and parents. Peter is embarrassed with his mother because she fights with the father in front of everyone. Anne and Margot understand their mother tries her best, but Anne is still much closer to her father as he teaches her, laughes with her, and is overall a more relax kind of parent. Margot's and Anne's mother is more strict as she scolds them when making noice in the Annex.
