What makes don Quixote parody

English

That novel is a parody of a knighthood which was long forgotten. Don Quixote reads chivalric books instead of being the knight himself. He becomes sort of mad - he sees dragons and enemies where there are only windmills. He thinks his love Dulcinea will never age and will forever wait for him - whereas in reality she is just a normal peasant who doesn't even know him. The values of knighthood are mocked in this novel, and that is what makes it a parody.

What is the difference between accuracy and precise?
svp [43]

Answer:

accuracy is how close a measurement is to a true/accepted/wanted value, while precise is more of how close the measurements of the same item re to each other.Think of it as accuracy is how close it is to whatever value you have, while precision is more of how reproduce-able the measurements are, even if it is far from the wanted value.

Which group of words is a phrase? A. the sunlight was bright B. caught at the office C. he ordered a salad D. she is sleepy E. t
Novay_Z [31]

B. caught at the office

A phrase is not a sentence and can't stand alone. Caught at the office can't stand alone as a sentence; it is a <u>participial</u> phrase because it consists of a participle (<em>caught</em>) and a prepositional phrase (<em>at the office</em>).
