the answer in point-slope form is y = 1/4x-2 so your y-intercept is -2 and from there, move up one and right four. your points would be (0, -2) and (4, -1)

hope this helped! :)

Solve 3-(2x-5)<-4(x+2)
azamat

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

3-(2x-5)=-4(x+2)

We simplify the equation to the form, which is simple to understand

3-(2x-5)=-4(x+2)

Remove unnecessary parentheses

3-2x+5=-4*(x+2)

Reorder the terms in parentheses

3-2x+5=+(-4x-8)

Remove unnecessary parentheses

+3-2x+5=-4x-8

We move all terms containing x to the left and all other terms to the right.

-2x+4x=-8-3-5

We simplify left and right side of the equation.

+2x=-16

We divide both sides of the equation by 2 to get x.

x=-8

How many lines of symmetry are <br> found in a regular polygon with 40
Andreas93 [3]
This is assuming that 40 refers to sides.

Since 40 is an even number, you can have lines of symmetry going from any vertex to the opposite one. Since there can be two identical lines, we just cut in half 40 to 20 so there are no repeats. We can do this for halfway between two vertices as well, so that's another 20. Twenty  + 20 = 40 and thus, your answer is 40 lines of symmetry.

State the domain of the rational function. f(x) = seventeen divided by quantity five minus x
alexandr1967 [171]

If we are going to write the equation in its mathematical form, we will see that it becomes,

<span>                                        f(x) = 17/(x – 5)</span>

The domain of the function is the number of x that would allow us to solve the equation and get a real value for f(x). In this equation, x can take any real numbers so long as it is not 5. This is because 5 – 5 in the denominator will lead to 0 which in turn makes the equation indefinite.
