The middle passage was a series of routes where Africans were shipped to America usually from West Africa to trade and sell on ships. It was used from the early 1500s to the later 1800s. If you put the answers in i could probably help give you a better explanation

To add, the Confederation relied on the states to send tax money to the central government. The central government lacked funds and thus they could not maintain a military or the paper currency.
