Plants infected by a particular root fungal disease are unable to grow root hairs. Describe how this would affect water uptake b
kotegsom [21]

Explanation:

The rate of water uptake by the plant would be greatly reduced.

Root hairs increase the surface areas to volume ratio by which the roots absorb water from the soil. This means the plant will not be able to effectively replace water lost by evapo-transpiration and the plant will wilt especially on a hot day.

Describe how gravity affects reentry and other energy factors.
solmaris [256]

Answer:

When an object enters the Earth's atmosphere, it experiences a few forces, including gravity and drag. Gravity will naturally pull an object back to earth. ... This friction causes the object to experience drag, or air resistance, which slows the object down to a safer entry speed.

Of the 5 systems of the earth, which 2 would be most affected by a hurricane?
gulaghasi [49]
The earth systems are divided into five basic groups which are: atmosphere, geopshere, hydrosphere, cryosphere and the p.edoshpere.
Of these five the two that would be most affected by the hurricane are the atmosphere and the hydrosphere.
This is because, for an hurricane to occur, warm water and evaporation must be present, which lead to the generation of high frequency storms which is characteristic of every hurricane.
