Answer:

Visual Basic for Applications runs as an internal programming language in Microsoft Office applications such as Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, and Visio. VBA allows users to customize beyond what is normally available with MS Office host applications by manipulating graphical-user-interface (GUI) features such as toolbars and menus, dialogue boxes, and forms. You may use VBA to create user-defined functions (UDFs), access Windows application programming interfaces (APIs), and automate specific computer processes and calculations. Macros can automate just about any task—like generating customized charts and reports, and performing word- and data-processing functions. Programmers, like replicating large pieces of code, merging existing program functions, and designing specific languages. VBA can also work in non-Microsoft settings by using a technology called "COM interface," which allows commands to interact across computer boundaries. Many firms have implemented VBA within their own applications, both proprietary and commercial, including AutoCAD, ArcGIS, CATIA, Corel, raw, and SolidWorks.

exis [7]

Answer:

Border Gateway Protocol is a protocol the routers use to determine the most optimal path to forward the traffic.

Explanation:

BGP is a path vector protocol which chooses the most optimal path. The protocol decides core routing decisions based on path, configuration and network.

This protocol gives all the notification about the status of the connection and router.

It is used to routing in an autonomous system and provides ways to measure the effectiveness of configuration.

If Scheme were a pure functional language, could it include DISPLAY ? Why or why not?
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer:

When Scheme is a pure functional language, it cannot include the function DISPLAY. Since the pure functional languages will return the same value whenever the same expression is evaluated, and the DISPLAY would be the output and thus it cannot be part of the purely functional language. Thus in the pure functional language we can evaluate the expressions with the same arguments and it returns the same value since there is no state to change.

A network technician is able to connect the switches between two offices, but the offices cannot communicate with each other, as
Contact [7]

Answer:

C) Router

Explanation:

In computer networking, the router's function is to stand in between diferent data lines and control the flow of data packets.  When a packet arrives from one direction, it reads the address information in the header to determine its direction. Note that the data lines will contain different IP addressing scheme, so considering the scenario in the above question, since the offices use different IP schemes, a router will serve the purpose of directing data packets to allow communication.
