I think this question is about the poem STOLEN RIVERS by Phillippa Yaa de Villiers
The first two lines of the poem goes like this: "We Africans came to Berlin to sing <span>and recite poetry. We had an agenda:" </span> Agenda is defined as a to-do list. It's a list of things that needs to be discussed in a meeting or gathering.
Upon further reading of the poem, their agenda is presented in lines 3-9 of the poem. "remembering our anthems of loss, galloping, consuming, the pillage, the cries like forest fires, like haunted children, how can we, how can we even begin to redress? <span>Enraged, we wanted revenge"</span>
Though they listed down their agenda, their hidden agenda was to exact revenge.
